My best hand cream♥

Hi everyone! I am back with the post again :)

Today, I want to share my review on the hand cream I use.
It is from Crabtree & Evelyn and I am currently using their newest product which is Pomegranate hand cream.
My hands are very dry and I always have to apply hand cream after each wash. I have used so many other brands but I have to admit this is the best one so far.
It soothes and moisturizes the skin very well and it also absorbs into the skin quickly.

There are a few different scents so I recommend you to go to the store and see which one you like the most. The scent is important to me because I get bad headaches if it isn't the right one.
After all trials, I picked out the best three which were Pomegranate, Summer Hill, and Citron.
Crabtree & Evelyn had a promotion on the hand creams during Christmas season which was 3 for $40. (I can't remember the exact price but it was around $40 and I paid $45 after tax)
I gave one of the Pomegranate to Dave's sister and the left two are with me :)

I love everything about Crabtree's hand creams except one huge thing, the container. :(
After a few uses, the shape gets all ugly and it is not the same, pretty hand cream anymore like the brand new one that I fell in love with...haha
Sometimes when it is too squeezed in a bag then you have to be careful with opening the lid. (Mine literally poured out of the container a few times :P)

Anyhow, I am in love with the Pomegranate and also can't wait until to use Summer Hill♬

If you are almost done with your current hand cream or looking for one then try Crabtree & Evelyn's.
They are the best!!♥.♥

Let's keep our hands in a nice and beautiful condition♥

My Winter surviving tips #1 ♥

Hi everyone :) Today, I am going to introduce you the first part of my winter surviving tips!

I get cold super easily.. On a fine winter day when people say the weather is actually not that cold, I still shiver a lot. I have to wear lots of layers during winter time...
However, I don't like wearing too many layers underneath my coat or jacket so Dave always gets mad at me. Dave got me this Canada Goose jacket, Montebello. It is warm compared to other jackets and I think it is the best winter jackets ever! (I still freeze in Canada Goose though :( ... )

This is Canada Goose Montebello. It is 100% down filled and water resistance which is really great for Vancouver weather. It rains the most of the time.. :( sigh sigh
The fur (Coyote fur) on the hood is detachable so it is really up to your preference.

If you wish to have a more defined waistline then you could pull the string and adjust the look.
Montebello has two big pockets in the front which are really handy. The pockets fit lots of things; my phone,  gloves, compact, lip balm, etc. There are also pockets on the bust area, arms, and inside the jacket as well.

There are so many great reviews on Canada Goose jackets, but I haven't really searched for any since Dave   bought this and he was the one who searched all the information.
He says he is the master of Canada Goose now ;) haha He told me there are lots of online stores selling Canada Goose products as well but they might sell fakes unless they are authorized Canada Goose retail.
Anyhow, there are lots of environmental issues about the production but I will not get into that part.

I wear it everyday, no joke! I love it and I want to say thanks to Dave.
I know Dave spent so much time on searching reviews and types of products that suit me the best.
As he wishes, I will try to wear more layers and eat more!!

If you are looking for a winter jacket, then this is the one to go for :P

A touch of grey brown makeup

I am back with a new makeup tutorial :) I already posted the video last night on youtube!
Here is the tutorial for you!

I went out for a dinner last night with Dave's co-workers. One of the co-workers is going back to Korea next week so we had the last gathering dinner at Guu on Thurlow and Robson streets. As always, Guu was sooooo packed and seven of us had to sit around a small table. All of us had a really good time and enjoyed the food as well. Before I went out for the dinner, I filmed this video really quick and edited it today while Dave was working. Let's have a look at the used products for this tutorial.

1. Benefit Erase Paste concealer (no.2 medium)
2. Missha perfect cover BB cream (no.23 natural beige)
3. TonyMoly liquid highlighter
4. Stila Natural Eyes palette (Kitten)
5. Too Faced Natural Eyes palette (Birthday suit & Like a virgin)
6. Too Faced Natural Eyes palette (Lap dance)
7. Body Shop pink eye shadow
8. Maybeline gel eyeliner (Black)
9. Dior Shimmer Powder (Amber Diamond)
10. MAC blush (Peaches)
11. Benefit browkit (medium)
12. Doflower Facebalm ( www.doflower.co.kr )
13. Benefit Posie Tint

Most of you might not be familiar with the face balm from Doflower. Doflower is based in Korea and carries organic skin care products. They are all handmade with 100% natural ingredients.
Check out the website www.doflower.co.kr

(I am going to post a review on the doflower products later on. If you have any inquiries about the products then let me know!)

One important point while putting the tint on the lips is that you have to make gradation in the color tones.
As you can see in the pictures above, the lip color tone is darker in the mid area and then gradually fades out.

That's all for this makeup! Have a good day everyone♥

I will study more on editing videos and also look for some tips on self video recordings as well.
It feels kind of awkward speaking in front of a camera by myself but I will get used to it eventually..

There is only one video on my youtube channel, but it doesn't mean that you can't visit right?
My channel is called Beauty in a Song (same as my blog)

Then I will see you with better videos and posts later. Thank you :)

Review: Saje products

Hi guys :)
I am posting a review on Saje products that Dave gave to me as New Year's present.
Saje products are 100% derived from nature like plants and fruits. It says on the website that their mission is to connect with the healing power of plants.
I went to Saje on Robson Street which opened up around a month ago or two. It is a tiny store but has lots of products that you will enjoy!

They are having a Boxing Week Sale until January 5th. If you have time then you should go and take a look!

People love good deals and so do I. When one of the employees told me about the sale, I actually focused on my shopping. These are the ones I got!

Clay Comfort Healing Neck Wrap
Pain Release Analgesic Essential Oil
Aromatherapy Mist (Refresh)

The first thing I saw was all different types of facial & body mists.
Dave and I tried a bunch of different mists in the store (well..I sprayed two types of mists on each side of Dave's face haha) When I go shopping, I am more interested in cosmetic, facial products than anything else.
Guess what then? I was only looking at the mists in the store but Dave saw this clay wrap and pain relief oil products. All the sudden, he got so excited and picked out the wrap and oil.

At first, I did not want to get those two but after listening to his explanation........haha
He's been worrying a lot about my health and condition after the accident so he convinced me that these were the must have items to release my shoulder and neck pains.

So far, I am in love with them.

It contains the clay pack and washable neck wrap.

You have to put the pack in the microwave for 1 minute. If you think the temperature is good for you then put the pack in the wrap like the picture above. If you microwave the pack for more than a minute at once then it might blow up so make sure to check the time! There is an instruction on the box and on the pack as well.

There is also effects written down on the box for both of cold and hot use. Read it over before using the pack!

For added relief, you could use Pain Release Oil prior to putting the pack on your shoulder. It smells like herbs. It could be strong for some people but there are a few different scents so choose whichever one works out for you!

Roll the Pain Release Oil on the area where you have pain or feel stiff. Then put the pack on the shoulders!
The herb scent of the oil brings out a better result since I feel like it relaxes my stressed out feelings and tightened up muscles.

Let's move on to the mist!
I got the Aromatherapy Mist - Refresh.  It has a scent of mint and it is very refreshing once sprayed on the face. The scent is not strong and it has good hydration too!
It definitely does refreshes your skin and your mind as well. I use it all the time now; right after washing my face and before going to bed and whenever I feel like using it.
Because of the mint ingredient, it feels very cool as in temperature wise outside.
You might say it is because of the weather but it is different feeling from winter air. It feels really fresh and cool like right after washing your face with cold water.
One more thing is that I feel like it tightens up the pores due to the coolness.

I have not sprayed on the face with full makeup but it was fine on foundation.

If you are looking for products that are healthy, fresh and made with natural ingredients then I highly recommend Saje. These three are my first items and I am in love with them.
If you have sensitive skin then it might be a good idea to check out Saje too!

Have a good night =)
